Tech Labs

The TECH Center has 10 computers, over 950 software titles and a multitude of different types of adaptive equipment such as alternative keyboards, trackballs, mice and switches. The purpose of a TECH lab is to try out some of the different types of software and adaptive equipment to help determine what best suits you and/or your child.

Labs are free for members. Non-members must pay a $10.00 fee per lab. You must pre-register; walk-ins are not accepted. Please, bring only the child that is signed up for the lab. Siblings are welcome; however, they must be signed up for the lab also. Please bring one adult per child, if possible. Call us at (714) 533-8275 to register to attend a lab or for more information.

Labs are scheduled one Saturday a month from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Labs are also available by individual appointment. Parents must come to at least one individualized lab before coming to the open Saturday labs.

TECH Labs during the week are by individual appointment. They can be scheduled for any day of the week; there will no longer be "set" lab times on Mondays and Thursdays. This will enable TASK to better serve our consumers.
