Assistive Technology Device Training and Guided Labs

TASK offers "guided labs," which are private, one-on-one appointments to help you with your specific training needs. Guided labs are designed to help you learn software applications, adapative devices, or anything else you would like training on.

These appointments are one to three hours in length, depending on the need. The cost is $30.00 per hour, with a minimum of one hour (the cost for TASK members is $20.00 per hour). 

Some of the software and devices includes (but is not limited to):

• IntelliTools software and IntelliKeys
• AlphaSmart Products (Neo, Dana, Smart Applets, etc.)
• Don Johnston Software (Solo, Co-Writer, Write OUt Loud, STF Books, etc.)
• Switches and switch software
• Mayer Johnson software (Boardmaker, Writing With Symbols, etc.)
• Wynn and Kurzweil 3000
• Low-tech items
• And more!
