TASK members can check out up to three software titles at a time for a one month period. A deposit of $50.00 per title is required. There is a late fee of $1.00 per day, per title. Refund checks will be issued within 10 days of returning the software, less late fees. If the software is not returned within 15 days of being late, you will be charged the late fees, plus the total price of the software, plus shipping and handling. 

Copy Protection

Software borrowed from TASK may not be copied or transferred to another medium, in any form or by any means, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, or be used for any commercial purpose. The companies who produce the software reserve all protections and rights. Furthermore, you must agree to REMOVE / UNINSTALL this software from your computer before returning it to TASK and that you will not copy this software for your own use, UNDER PENALTY OF PROSECUTION BY THE SOFTWARE MANUFACTURER.

Software Damage

In the case that the software becomes damaged while in your possession, you will be charged the replacement cost of the software. This will come out of the deposit, and the difference will either be refunded or billed to you, depending on the cost.

This software is lent with the intention of allowing professionals and parents of children with disabilities to test it to determine the suitability for their consumers/children.

Adaptive equipment may also be borrowed. The deposit fees are determined on a case by case basis, depending on the item's value.
